It offered a bunch of activities for all ages including cooking demonstrations. With outside seating and a good view, the cafe was officially opened. While everyone is welcome to come for a chat and a coffee, it has become home to people suffering from learning, physical and mental disabilities. This helps provide a sense of community among the people in the cafe. One of our most loyal volunteers, Leroy, first joined us in 2014 and has turned up every Tuesday and Wednesday without fail. His mental disables have prevented him from securing a job but at the concord cafe he is he receives support from everyone involved. We welcome anyone to these events as it offers a chance to learn about the history and culture of people from all areas of the globe. Many of the events will be themed meaning the food will match it.
